    Just ordered a Dakota Defender...

    Now the wait begins

Black leather, standard clips, for my Bersa 380.

I wasn't impressed with any of the IWB stuff from Galco, but I went to my local gun store and ordered some of their belts. I'm going to order a couple from the Beltman as well.

K&D seems to be really well recommended on this website so I'm sure its going to be worth the 14-16 week wait.

Congratulations on a wonderful purchase. My pistol is resting in mine now. Enjoy, stay safe, and be patient.

A little off topic so don't get angry with me. I emailed K&D a few days ago as I am wanting a holster for my Model 19 snubby but I haven't heard anything from him. Is he usually a little slow with answering emails?

You are going to like that holster!!! I have one for the Ruger P345 and also the Maverick for the same gun. They are made very well.

TimM,,, He is probably really busy or playing on his new Bike. I would just give him a call and talk to him. He is a really nice guy to work with and he can answer all of your questions.

I emailed him and only heard back from him once a few days later. I called and his wife answered and you could hear him hammering away at something in the background. So give him a call during normal business hours and they will totally help you out.

The wait is well worth it. Though it is true torture.

Kevin usually frequents this board also. I'm willing to bet he'll post in this thread soon. I've always had good luck calling him.

Like bacchus99 said, Kevin will get back with you. I think that he is REALLY busy. If you can though, like bacchus99 said, give Kevin a call. He is great to talk with and you will leave the conversation knowing that you just spoke with someone who really enjoys what he does. He is also a real nice guy!

I have a Laredo Defender that was definitely worth the wait. I think mine was said to be 8-10 weeks and it arrived almost exactly 10 weeks to the day after I delivered it.

Since there are no pictures of Kevin's work, here is my custom holster:

    Be Observant and Be Safe.

    Current: S&W 442, Springfield XD9sc, XDm9, and Glock G26, G19, G23C,
and SIG P226-40 TT, and Ruger GP-100, and Beretta 92FS
    Former: Taurus 92SS, SIG P220 TT, S&W 360, SIG P239-40, Ruger 22/45 MKII

Hmmm... how much did the snake skin cost you if you don't mind me asking?
