    $0-75.00 holster for 3" Sp101

My dad just bought a slightly used 3" Ruger Sp101. Man that is a sweet shooter. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone could reccomend a OWB holster for this weapon. I'm having a hard time finding one.

Have you checked Kevin at K&D? He does great work, and the price is very reasonable.

Take a look, and I do not think you would find a better holster.

I, had one in my hands today. Can probably be had with no wait for about $50.00. Check with John W. O'Rourke at J.W. O'Rourke Leather Products -- Holsters, belts. He has a toll free # on his web site.

I would HIGHLY recommend this holster from Bullard Leather; it holds the weapon very close. I have a K&D defender OWB and although it's a really nice holster, I find that you have to cinch it down a lot tighter to get it as close as the Bullard holster. I feel the Bullard Leather conceals much better than the K&D defender. I also have the SP101 with the 3". I also have a

I also have this IWB holster on order so I can't comment on it but I think it'll be a good IWB for the longer SP101 because it has an adjustable cant for the revolver version. I post when I get it!:

After trying a couple of IWB holsters that didn't work well for me, I just installed a "Clipdraw" on my 2 1/4" SP101. I wore it most of the day today and, so far, so good. It is more comfortable than the two holsters I tried and I can essentially "tuck" it. The clipdraw doesn't add visual appeal to the revolver but is the least bulky option there is for IWB carry.

I'll know more in a few months

    Don Hume JIT Holsters. .

Best I've ever tried. Holds tight to the body and holds the firearm very securely.

    +1 On Bullard's holsters.

Here's the Dual Carry Conceal in IWB mode (it goes OWB too) with my 2.25" SP101 on board.
