    ?? For the ladies??

My wife is considering getting her CCW. When she wears jeans the obvious rules apply for concealment. How about when she wears dresses and skirts?

How do you ladies deal with this?
    - no carry
    - matching cover jacket
    - purse
    - other

    Thanks.

I'll carry in a shoulder holster with a nice sweater, or I'll still carry a smaller gun on my skirt.

I don't wear a lot of skirts and dresses since I don't work in an office anymore, but if that fashion were to come back for me I would invest in a good thigh holster and some smart carry.

Never purse! When it matters the most, the purse is always somewhere else and you have to dig through it for twenty minutes before you actually find anything.

Lima, have you ever tried those undershirts with holsters sewn on or something of that nature?

+1 for not using a purse

I'm not one of the women, but I would suggest the smart carry or belly band. With the belly band and the right sized gun, it literally can disappeared.

A few years ago, the Blue Press had a model posing with a thigh-holster. Might have to lift your skirt in public, but at that point, WHO CARES?

    Exactly!

I doubt very seriously that anyone is going to be looking too much at the curvature of my gams when the S is Hing TF and I'm pulling a gun.

May not be the best system in the world, but it sure beats the crap out of not having a gun!

What guns do you typ carry?
Would a Springer XD sub be too heavy or bulky for some of these undergarment methods?

If I were going to thigh holster carry I would do so with my Colt Mustang .380. I think that anything heavier would be uncomfortable, but for smart carry I've heard of people being very comfortable with larger guns.

Be aware of a woman in a skirt "walking wide"...she's probably carrying a large caliber!

To be blunt, my lady's breasts rule out the shoulder holster. She likes a purse carry, which I object to. When we're on the motorcycle without her purse, she carries a belly band up around her boob-line.
