    Question Holster Recommendations

I'm looking for holster recommendations to carry a J frame. Strong side, behind the hip with cant and a thumb snap. Close to the body fit. Any recommendations and/or pictures?

Great products in general from El Paso.

I also like Milt Sparks, but I've not had my hands on a Sparks revolver holster... I'm sure they're every bit as good as their semi auto holsters.

Why do you want a Thumb Snap?

I only use a Thumb Break, plus more, on my Duty Holster. The concealed carry holsters are unseen as they are "covered" by the cover garment.

I like Matt Del Fatti and Milt Sparks for most Revolver Holsters.

OWB. The thumbsnap is personal preference.

I don't have any personal experience with them but Simply Rugged has some good options.

Back in the 90’s I worked for the Feds and carried a G19 in that same holster all over the country, including NY and Chicago just to name a few, and it must have worked great, because I was never asked for any credentials/permits.

My Dad is picking up a G30 for his retirement pistol. He likes TBs so I'm going to get him one for Dad's day. I might just have to get one myself.

Check out Simply Rugged's Silver Dollar Pancake. With a pancake holster you do not need a thumb snap. I've got a Open Top holster for a G20 that should be arriving in a couple of weeks. Give Rob a call.

Not a fan of snap holsters. IMO a well made holster will keep that revolver in place. I personally like the Desantis Speed Scabboard. Have three and carry my models 29, 36 and 66 in them and really like the design, comfort and concealability. The price is right also.
    Good luck.
