Whats the best way to carry a revolver? I've heard mexican style with a revolver is generally not as much of a concern as it would be with a pistol. Ideas for carry, for both me and my wife?

A holster works pretty good.
3:00 or 4:00 position.

Mexican Carry = NO-NO...OMO (in my rule book)
Holster carry only...even if in a pocket!

During the summer (with cargo shorts on) I perfer to carry my j frame in a Mika pocket holster.
Other times IWB with a High Noon Hideaway at appendix.
My better half has begun to carry crossdraw. She says it feels right that way.
Carry my Taurus 617 in a smartcarry all summer. Works well for me. My wife purse carries her bulldog but we are looking at a better option for on body carry for her.

Desantis Nemesis in the front pocket. CTAC IWB. Both work well with snubbies.
While "Mexican carry" with any gun is a bad idea....I think it worse with the revolver for the simple reason that if and/or when the gun's cylinder makes it past the belt/belt line....gravity will take over since the majority of the gun's weight is concentrated on the cylinder.
As others have stated...get a good pocket holster, like this one from HBE Leatherworks (with my Taurus 905 9mm):
...or get a good IWB/OWB belt holster, or even a Smart Carry holster.

My G/F prefers cross-draw with her J-frame. Seems to fit the female shape better. I've always felt cross-draw was dangerous, very easy to be disarmed.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
Barami Hip Grips are an acceptable way to carry a revo IWB without a holster.

Pocket carry with either Mikas or Desantis Nemesis.

I wouldn't use Mexican carry unless there were no alternative, in an emergency of some kind. When I carry my Detective Special, it's in a Bianchi Model 100, inside the waistband.

I wouldn't carry my wallet stuck in my waist (for fear of dropping/losing it!). I'm SURELY not going to carry a handgun that way! PLEASE wrap that rascal in a holster (IWB, OWB, bellyband, pocket, whatever). Friends don't let friends Mexican Carry.
