    Kramer #3 IWB

Does anyone here carry in a Kramer #3 IWB holster? I've heard great things about the Kramer OWB Scabbards but I've never heard anything about their IWBs. Apparently this holster was originally designed for Glocks. I wonder if the "loops over the gun" design of this holster causes any concealment issues....

Probably the most famous IWB is the Summer Special, and it has the loops over the body of the holster. Kramer makes great products, thinnest and toughest horsehide I've ever seen.

I have a Kramer IWB #3 for my Sig P239. Overall it is a good holster, well molded and secure. Stiff mouth. Personally I feel the belt loops let it move around more than I'd like, but is a good, competent holster.

I'd take it over a Galco any day of the week.

On the other hand, I prefer the Comp-Tac M-TAC and my K&D over the Kramer.

I have them for all my S&W semis, a total of five and they are extremely well built and very comfortable. I prefer the horsehide as it rains constantly here in Oregon. I never had any issues with concealment and the S&W's are quite thick when compared to others.

I picked one up a while back for my P-220R Carry while I waited for my MS order... I was very surprised at how comfortable this holster was!

My plan was to sell it after my VM-II arrived but I'm gonna keep it!

    Thumper,

I know you are a BIG fan of the VM2.....how did the IWB #3 compare when you got the VM2 for the P220 Carry? Was there a noticeable difference?

FWIW I also have VMII's a Garrity Incognito and an Alessi PCH plus a few others, the Kramer is just as comfortable and as well made. I'm actully surprised they don't get mentioned as much as the others. Another nice feature is the ability to adjust the rig to 1.25, 1.5 and 1.75 belts.

I have two. One is for a G26, and the other 1911 in cowhide. They are not bad holsters, but for me not comparable to the Sparks ExC.

I own a Kramer #3 and I use it with my Glock 19 or 23. Kramer's work is on a plane with the best leather workers and that is fact. Regards, Richard

Two of my Kramer holsters (#3 is on the right):
