    Crossbreed Supertuck -- Kelly's Police & Tactical



    I just got my Crossbreed Supertuck for my XD!!! It's on and comfy.

    I called Kelly's Police and Tactical in Springfield, MO [(417) 831-3106] per another thread here last week. They thought they were getting one in that day, but it didn't come in until Tuesday of this week... I got a phone call from them on Tuesday and just got my holster out of the mail this morning.

    Great service. So far the holster is hiding the XD Service nicely under a lightweight crewneck sweater. I'll try out the tucking business later.

    A point of clarification on Kelly's Police and Tactical.

    Kelly's is our local outlet for holsters, this allows us to concentrate on making holsters here at the shop and not dealing with the constant interruptions of walk in traffic.

    As far as the holsters Kellys has on the shelf, due to mutual agreement between thier management and myself, thier stock is limited in scope and quantity and is also reserved for walk in traffic only.

    This has been rather loosely applied in the past but will be more strictly adhered to in the future.

    This is the fairest way I know of to prevent some of the problems that other holstermakers have experienced in the past with trying to service both thier backlog and dealer orders.

    I've worn the holster all day and intend to do so for quite some time.

    No offense whatsoever, you did nothing wrong.

    More of a misunderstanding on Kelly's part than yours. I just felt that it was in everyone's best interest to clarify the intended role of Kelly's.

    Taking phone and internet orders while running the shop is one thing. Standing in the office explaining our products to one customer after another while the shop languishes is quite a different matter.

    The limited stock that Kelly's receives relieves me of that and allows me to concentrate on the web based business which is 98% of our orders.

    I have seen other makers, one in particular, get into serious problems by over servicing a dealer to the detriment of their web based customers. That will not happen in my shop.

    Thanks for understanding and affording me the opportunity to clarify the issue.
