Will a Glock 19 fit into a Taurus PT145 holster and vice versa?

I looked on the internet and found that the Glock 19 Slide/barrel is a tad bit longer than the Taurus PT145...otherwise the dimensions look fairly similar:

You'll get by in something generic like an Uncle Mikes. Quality holsters are boned or formed for one specific gun for proper retention and wear, both leather and kydex.

I have a Glock 19 and use a blackhawk CQC SERPA and would never use any thing but that for carry. But it is a Glock specific holster. It was only like 45 bucks. Your better off getting one for each.

As AZ says, quality holsters are usually formed per model. However. i have a Passport Pancake holster that fits both my PT111 and my G19, as well as my Kimber Tac Ultra II 3" really well.

Its what im using now til I get cash for a good one.

Thankye. My younger brother is donating a glock 19 to my collection, albeit wo/holster. Jeeze...I, like most on here, have a whole box full of holsters...guess I'll just have to go out and get another one. I'm at the point where I will need to start tagging these holsters so I know what goes with what.

My pt-140 holster fit my 19, but, does not hold it securely enough to turn upside down...the 19 will fall out. So I guess it's o.k if you're not planning on walking on your hands, or bending over to tie your shoe.
