Hi,
In my very uneducated opinion, take it for what it's worth, a cross-draw is just a strong hand holster worn on the other side. Any good well made holster should be OK.

A cross-draw has the opposite cant of a strong side holster. They are not interchangeable.

You can wear some holsters with a straight drop (no forward cant) in crossdraw, but most made for CD have a bit of rearward cant to them. El Paso Saddlery's Double Agent works well for this, and I had K&D make me a custom Laredo Defender in CD. I'll be putting up a review for that one soon. I wanted to wear it a bit before reviewing.
A straight drop holster worn off-side is fairly difficult to draw from. You're already reaching all the way across your body, then have to pull straight up. A grip forward design is much more natural.

For a crossdraw, I like the way this Andrews carries. I'd be tempted to try it if I was looking for a crossdraw setup. Andrews Custom Leather - Saddle Style Holsters
I have a couple three slot belt holsters that do okay for crossdraw. I've used my Mitch Rosen 'upper limit express' as a crossdraw rig for my G27 alot. My larger pistols in the three slots aren't very concealable crossdraw in the three slot holsters because the grip of them just protrudes too far outward IMO, and they sit higher making the draw more difficult. But I have tried them out this way.
