Sorry, this was meant to be a positive critique. IMO-your methods and means should be re-evaluated. What is the public going to see?

Looks good! Did you have to tighten the screw any? I found I needed to tighten mine quite a bit for the SIG.

I did tighten a little. The tension screws are not tighten or loosened by the DeSantis factory. I let my 1911 sit in if for a while, once the leather started to give in, I tighten the screw as needed.

Funny guy RamRod. No it wasn't a broken rib. I was in a hurry and with my grossly Dislocated Hip and Femur that was the best I could accomplish due to the narcotics and extreme pain . I always use a 1 3/4" belt with this holster. Even with the belt which tightens the rig up it still prints unless I'm wearing a large shirt (usually flannel). It is a winter time holster for me. Hopefully will have a IWB for it shortly which should make it disappear like my Champion does.
Skip, yours looks pretty good. Only problem I see is exposing it when you are pulling out your wallet.

Well, not so much the wallet---I'll switch that to the weak side in that case--done that before. Once I have an IWB for the SIG, that's likely where it will go. I'd worry about reaching with the strong (right) side arm for something high. In that case, the shirt may come up over top of the pistol and stay there once your arm is back down. I get asked quite often by shoppers to grab something off the top shelf for them. Just like the walk to the car in the parking lot with your hands loaded with bags-o-stuff--------------get ready to drop it all when you carry this way. The weak hand will need to clear the shirt out of the way, and strong will un-holster the pistol. Did you all catch the video series yet? Might check it out. I've been through it once, and back around on chapter 15 for the second time. Good luck, and hopes for a speedy recovery.

    Sportsterguy.
If anybody ever needed a heavier, stiffer, proper gun belt pulled tighter - you do.

Hi QK. I was in a hurry and just slapped on the holster with my regular belt. I do have a black belt holster for the Desantis SS. Does pull it in tighter but the bulge is much more pronounced than than my Don Hume IWB. Don't care for the Don Hume as it's a clip model and is really uncomfortable. Have a better one on order and when it arrives I'll take pics.
RamRod, I was just joking about the hip & femur. I did manage do break the two back in 1992 in 3 places falling off a helicopter but thanks to a stainless plate and rod I'm good to go.

    Take care,

    Roger
