P7 and P7M8

I am going to pick up a P7 trade in. I wanted a couple del fati holsters for it but I've read that they are only avaiable for the P7M8 and not the P7. How much difference is there that would make it not work with the P7?

The mag release and heat gaurd are the only differences I knew about that would be inside of the holster. I think the trigger gaurd may be a tad bit longer. I guess that would make it not work.

I don't think the mag release would make a diff, maybe a little wobble.
Pretty much the same reason the MTAC isn't offered in a M8.

I don't have a holster for my M8 currently so I can't be of much help.

I don't know where you read that information but I do build holsters for the P7 too.

The P7 won't properly fit in a holster built for a P7M8 because the trigger guard on the M8 is both longer and deeper than that of the P7.
