    Improved "Summer Special" Type Holster

    I just put up a pictorial of how to improve the attachment points and comfort of "Summer Special" IWB type holsters on my site if anyone is interested.

    I did it to my Kramer #3 which is a close copy of the SS.

    It looks like a a regular #3 when worn.

    Interesting modification. Very functional. When making low ride holsters grip access....full grip access shouldnt be compromised in any design in my opinion. Nice job and write up.

    Very nice work!

    However, instead of doing all of that work, I'll continue to buy Sparks regular rough out Summer Special, that does not move with a steel 5" 1911 in it.
    Keep the shotgun handy!!
