    1911 Government IWB holster?

I have a Blade-Tech SRB kydex holster on order for range and competition. Looking for an IWB holster for my STI Trojan. Should I just order a Milt Sparks Versa Max 2 IWB and begin the wait or are there other solid options to consider with a shorter wait time?

    Thanks,
    Scott

P.S. This is my first time here.

Txgolfer45, Take a look at the very comprehensive list of holsters makers that some of the great people here have compiled. You can find it under the Forum Help and Extras tab at the top. There are some great custom holster builders listed there and some of them have a lot shorter wait times than Milt Sparks. Well worth looking thru.

For Sparks leather, go to Lightning Arms Sports.

I predict you won't be disappointed.

You might want to take a look at a Milt Sparks Summer Special, it is the one on the right in my photo. I own one and it works well for me. Regards, Richard

If you do like the Sparks Summer Special II, they are in stock at Brownells.

I recommend Brommeland Max Con V.

Don't rule out the Andrews Leather McDaniel IWB. He can usually ship in a day or two. This is a variation of the SSII, but the mounts the loop behind the holster to make it even thinner. I carry a Commander size 1911 in mine and it works great.

Might be worth the time to check out a UBG Canute, got one on order for my Hi Power

Nate's work just keeps getting better and better.

I still have an order in w/ Sparks, but for the cost, quick turn around time, and great quality it's hard to beat UBG.

I figure it like this, if I end up liking the UBG rig better, I have a brand spankin' new Sparks VMII to sell on eBay and actually make my money back and then some if the trends in sales there continue.

I carry my Gov in a Blade-Tech Ultimate Concealment Holster and do like it. I have to admit that it is my first holster.

    Here is my review.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

Agave, I was looking at that holster too. I haven't decided if I want kydex or leather for my own IWB concealed-carry holster yet.

I'm not txgolfer45, but I appreciate the input here for my own nefarious holster-shopping purposes. Good input guys, I might find a home for my Springer yet!

If Lightning Arms doesn't have the Milt Sparks Holster you want you may want to consider Mitch Rosen's Express Line.

I'm getting my ARG Express in three weeks to "get me by" until my Del Fatti is done.

BikerRN, when will your Del Fatti holster be delivered? The Del Fatti that I just received has lived up to my expectations. Regards, Richard
