HBE Pancake Holster
Just ordered a HBE Pancake from Eric. Does anyone here own one and if you do what do you think of it? I ordered a mid-ride, 20 degree cant for my P229R. They looked nice and compact on his website which I really like. Any opinions are greatly appreciated.

I have 3. Great quality, well formed and easily concealed. Wouldn't hesitate to order another one from Eric. I carry a full sized 1911 government in one, my BHP in another and a P11 in another. Not all at the same time tho!!
We will be much better off when we learn to deal with things as they really are, instead of how we wish them to be!

I have that model (classic pancake w/ 18 degree cant) for a G17. Works great, and the greater cant seems to fit with larger guns.

Had one for a CZ-75 that I traded off as a package deal. Eric does nothing but quality work. You get what ya pay for and a little extra IMO. Can say it was not a great concealment holster for me and only used it as a field rig. His IWB's are great products if you're looking.

I was just thinking about ordering one of those myself for a 1911. Let us know what you think when you get it. They look real nice.
AZ Husker, great looking grips!

Yes, both sets are from Norway. They're both California Buckeye Burl. I've been on the lookout for some more blanks, but consistent grain is hard to find. It must be stabilized also. Last time I talked to Hakan, he was having trouble finding it too. Esmerelda has some occasionally, but I've never liked her samples.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
