    220R holster

I'm looking for a IWB 220r holster. Any ideas?

For you railed gun users, how does the draw compare to a non-railed gun?
Does leather get shaved from the inside of the holster?
Are there any kydex (or the like) holsters that I am overlooking?

Also, what's the way you keep spare mags on your person covertly? I've kept them in my pocket, but that seems like a bad solution.

Thanks for all the helpful info!

I've kept spare mags on occasion inmy pocket and you're right, it's not the best idea. I like to carry in a mag holder (Galco "J" Hook) behind my opposite hip. If your garment covers the gun, it'll cover the sp mag. One tip: Just an opinion because it works for me. I always position the magazine so that when poined down into the holder, the bullets are pointed forward. When you draw the mag for the reload, you can then INDEX your forefinger at the tip of the first round to be loaded and thereby also make contact with the front of the magwell and slide the mag home. In the dark if necessary, without fumbling or having to look.

You cannot find a thinner holster than Fist Inc. Kydex. It works well, and it is as comfortable as an IWB holster can be. Check out a #19 or #20 in Kydex at:

Leather shouldnt get shaved with the rail..as long as its molded to the right gun...they made 2 different 220 Rail configurations. Kydex will work well if thats what you want. BladeTech/Cendex/Fist and others make fine holsters.
    Shoot well...
