I either wear my 1-1/4" leather belt or a 1-1/2" Wilderness belt. I like them both, depending on where I am going.

I just got a 1.5" Wilderness belt and have been using a heavy leather belt I got from either Sportsman's Guide or Cheaper Than Dirt, (I can't remember which.) It was 2" and wouldn't fit my pants loops, so I cut it down to 1.5". The Widerness belt seems much better, but I haven't tried it yet.
Milt Sparks 1-1/4" with brass buckle. A good stiff belt and very well made. It actually measures 1-3/8".
1 1/4" belt I purchased from First American Ordinance. Can't remember the manufacturer (Ted Blocker I think). Looks like a dress belt. Wear it to work (even though no CCW on company property), so that you can't tell if I'm carrying just by which belt I'm wearing.
Also have an old "assualt" belt (parachute rigging type material with a carabiner hook up and lots of velcro) similar to the wilderness intructors tyep I think, for field/casual wear.

I wear a 1.25" black heavy leather belt purchased for about ten bucks around ten years ago at the Arts and Crafts Fair in Burnsville NC. I've worn it pretty much everyday since then (with the exception of black tie affairs - its not really a dress belt, besides, it wont fit throught he loops of my dress pants).
I carry IWB, I dont think it would hold up to OWB very well.
Military Garrison belt from your local Army and Navy. Holds anything I carry well for only 15 bucks.

1.5" belt from Gunners Alley. It has been a good, durable belt and holds my weapons very securely.
A good belt is a must!
