I'm thinking of ordering one of these chest holsters from... SURVIVAL SHEATH SYSTEMS : Kydex Shoulder and Chest Holsters
Anybody try one of these or know anybody that has used one? Would like to hear any comments on them.
Better to be tried by 12, than carried by 6

I have a friend who carried a SIG 229 in one of these. I've tried it with mine, and it's great for certain specific applications.

I don't know how effective the butt-up configuration can be. Looks awkward and I can't see how you'd clear cover garments. The butt-down is probably the way to go.
For a J-frame, it might be a nice way to carry while hiking or possibly jogging.
All of Survival Sheath's gear is very well made, too, so you don't have to fear it falling out of the holster or anything while you move. The fact that it comes in white is nice, too...probably helps it from being visible against a white undershirt.

I can't speak for the Chest Rig set-up but, I have seen an example of their shoulder rigs and their holsters are very good and are a great fit to the firearm. Smooth and no hassle to draw from.

Robert is a great guy to deal with. I have a modified shoulder version of one of his chest rigs on the way. One of my coworkers has a chest rig for his G27. Nice piece of kit.
