UBG Hits Another Home Run
I got my order form UBG in on Friday, I apologize for not posting this sooner, but I was wanting to try them out first before starting a thread on them.
Fist up is a tuckable Nassar for our new J-Frame:

I've gotten to wear this a couple of times, thus far I really like it, it's perfect for AIWB carry, strong side carry, and carry just behind the hip. Break-in was a non-issue, the 360PD draws from the rig wiht no hang and no snags. A perfect fit from the start.
Next is my long awaited Canute for my HK P7 PSP, I was ecstatic when Nate informed me that he got a mold for the the P7.
I've tried this out for the last two days, no break in was needed, the draw is flawless.

Strong side carry is a no-go, as the P7 is just too short in muzzle length for me and it sits right on the hip bone, however I must say that carrying just behind the point of the hip is quite comfortable, and the short grip and short muzzle make this combo a star while seated in vehicle, it is thus far one of the most comfortable rigs I've worn while driving.
I also ordered a Canute for my Hi Power, the fit on this one was a little snug, but one night with some wax paper and a couple of draws and it was nice and smooth, I haven't tired this rig out yet, as I've been too tied up carrying the HK.

And last but not least, two mag carriers, one for the P7 and one for the Hi-Power.

Those look great. I guess I am going to have to get off my duff and place an order with Nate.

Please let us know how it goes with the BHP. I will probably get a Commander length 1911 soon & want to see how it works with a longer barrel gun. Agreed, the short barrels hit me in the hip too.

Fine looking leather, JD, as we have come to expect from Nate. I too am interested in your experience with the Hi Power. I have gotten away from IWB all together and never carried a pistol that long IWB, so I would like to know how it works for you.

Very nice looking holsters. To bad I don't need another holster (yet).

Way to go, that's great looking leather! I particularly like the re-inforced mouth on the HP Canute. It's the first time I've seen one and I like it. For that matter, I like the HP too!

Hey they look fantastic JD.
Nice added touch having the Marine insignia on the P7 & HiPower.
Wear them in good health JD. They are super nice.
Nice pics of them also.
The light antique finish on the Nassar looks real fine.

Every time I see a UBG holster it looks even nicer than the last one I saw!

That's some beautiful leather there.
I have a tuckable that's a bit bigger and thicker for my 229, and I've been wearing it under a t-shirt with no problems. As a matter of fact, tonight I was at my parents and I did the catwalk spin for them and said that if you didn't know, that you couldn't tell if I was carrying, and my mom said "Carrying what?"
That tuckable you have is thinner and smaller, you should have no problem hiding that.

I use one of Nates for my Commander. The only time I have any discomfort is when stop going to the gym and my waisteline expands making the jeans tight even without the pistol.
Here is s a link to my story and my UBG Canute Holster for my Colt Commander.
