The Y clip is on the other side. The holster came set up from Galco for a right hand shooter and how else can I wear the holster without the clip. If you know of a way please share.

I returned mine. I thought it was very over priced for what I got. The shop gave me my money back (surprise!) and I bought 100 rounds of premium self defense ammo instead.

Let us know what you think of it- I have an XD too and am curious to know.

I have one for a Sig P239 .40. It does what it does very well, a deep-cover, tuckable and fairly comfortable IWB holster. It is NOT good for multiple engagements. Re-holstering is not easy, as it collapses once the pistol is removed. However, this would probably only be a factor at a shooting class and not in day-to-day carry.

    new holster

got one myself, imo not the greatest. pretty much
sits in the holster drawer collecting dust now.
but thats just me, what works for one might not
always work for someone else. anyway enjoy your
    new holster.

I personally don't like holsters that don't shield my gun from my body, perspiration can cause guns to rust, unless you wipe them down with a protectant every day,

Sold one a few months back for the exact same gun. The holster was too difficult to put on and you must have a belt that's perfectly sized for the Y clip. My 1.5" Beltman wasn't up to this requirement. Galco makes a good product but for the XD45 and other large handguns I'd recommend a Versamax 2 for IWB carry. Nothin better IMHO.

They are neat, but do not try them with a Rafter S belt - it is a no-go.
