I am waiting on a Desantis Superfly but needed something immediately to carry my LCP. The only thing I could find on the shelf in Charlotte, NC was the thin suede-like Galco "Pocket Protector." See below:
The holster is nice and thin, but the metal support around the opening (covered in leather around the top) wore a hole in my leg in less than three hours. It was sort of irritating, so I doubt that I am the only person who has experienced this problem. I solved it by cutting off the metal support to leave only the thin leather pouch. It is certainly not the best pocket holster, but it works just fine in jeans and most of my non-work pants. Just another option to consider.
I also snipped a couple stitches at the bottom to make the pistol sit slightly deeper. I wanted more trigger coverage.
