IMHO, all gun laws are unconstitutional. What part of "Shall not be infringed" do they fail to understand? Obviously, the part that limits government tyrrany over the rest of us. Unfortunately, the majority of my fellow americans disagree, and eagerly trade their freedom, and mine, for the "promise of security", even though that promise is false. So IMHO, they......We get exactly what we deserve. Neither security nor freedom!
Still, their logic (flawed or not) is that the wallet holster in question allows one to appear to fire what looks like a wallet (you don't need to draw from it, and it really does look like a wallet, not a gun- this is not the one pictured at the beginning of the thread).
The AOW class encompasses pen guns, cane guns, briefcase guns.... items that can fire from what looks not to be a gun. Also encompasses some manufactured firearms that are NFA but do not fall into some other class for some reason. Simple as I can state it.
Link for example, page of AOW's for sale (not affiliated with seller, for information only, hope this isn't in violation of the rules!) MACHINE GUNS FOR SALE - AUTOWEAPONS.COM
Here are some to compare....first pic shows LEGAL holsters.....2nd shows a AOW style.....The 2nd photo shows one that was available for the AMT backup .380. The safety can be operated & the slide will eject the spent rounds....It actually works without removing from holster/wallet.
