Double stack magazines and tuckable holsters
My first post here :)
I may be getting another handgun this year and thinking about moving up form my walther ppk/s to .45 in the 1911 platform. I'm considering the para warthog and comptac mtac holster with a proper belt. The question I have, which is relevant for other double stack magazines, is how to carry at least one extra mag when carrying tucked?
I've read that IWB is uncomfortable for magazines so would in the pocket work and who makes a pouch for that and double stack magazines? I think I also read somewhere about carrying on the ankle.
Thanks,
Mark

Welcome!
Milt Sparks makes a very nice pocket mag carrier (PCH-M) but the waiting is tough.
DeSantis has something called a Mag Packer, made from the same material as their Nemesis pocket holster. Inexpensive and readily available.

I keep my 1911 mag in my weak side, rear pocket.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

True, but I almost cried in happiness when it came in!

TT Gun Leather makes an IWB Mag holder that is very comfortable. I am super happy with mine.

You might take a look at this. I have used it when carrying IWB.

If I may make one recommendation. Unless you are wearing some sort of special gear a double stack 45 mag ways a fair bit and will drag your pockets down. I would much rather have it on the belt.

Soon the 10 round spare magazine will be replaced with a 14 round magazine. From the position of the safety pin, there is clearly room for the extended magazine.
