    1911 gets a new holster

Well my 1911 got a new holster & mag pouch last week. Both are from Nick at nm-holsters.com. He did a great job at a great price and it only took 4.5 weeks.

Looks good. Looks to carry a bit deeper than a VM-2. I'll be interested to hear your report after a bit of wear (on that IWB mag pouch too).

Well, I've been wearing both of these for a few weeks now and all I can say is WOW. They both ride great. I will be honest the mag pouch hasn't been worn as much as the holster but when I wear both I hardly notice that I'm wearing them.

I think they need a new TV show called "pimp my gun" where they take your gun refinish it in different finish or color and make a sweeeeeet custom holster

They could have the "Gunshop Mofia" ambush some poor unsuspecting gun owner. What was I thinking - maybe not.

I have the same holster for my Springfield Champion Operator. I wear it everyday and forget it's even there. I got mine in March and he told me 8 days turn around. He was done in just 7. He also lives near me so I just met him to pick it up. Obviously he's getting a lot more work these days.
