In my opinion, one of the fastests ways to draw your handgun is from an inside pants holster that you wear on the front of you. Especially when you are wearing a jacket or whatever else, it`s the easiest way to reach your gun. I tried to show my apprehension at some videos:

    I apologize for my English!

I have more dusty holsters than commen sense. I've been carrying for well over 30 some thing years.

Recently I got a Mitch Rosen clip on IWB from their express line for my 1911 4 1/4 Comamder. I wish I found this holster years ago.

I carry it stuck in my pants in front of my right front pocket. Real comfortable absolutly invisabile and the best feature is the always open mouth.

Nice shooting! What gun & holster were you using in the videos?

Your English is fine. Much better than most of us can do in Bulgarian.

If you wanna try out an IWB and don't wanna break the bank, do a search for Nick Mathews gunleather. He mighta gone up on me since a couple months ago, but he's new and very good, made a IWB for me and made a couple alterations for it, only cost me $45 plus shipping. Hard to beat that price, and it's quality leather. Wearing it right now, and even with a 5" 1911 frame, it's extremely comfortable. Great guy, too.

MY absolute favorite holster right now is my Brommeland Def-Con for my 1911. It's a pancake holster and it does not ride up under the edges of my vest (many will).

Supply and availability is extremely limited these days, regrettably.

I have an IWB holster on order from Bluegrass Holsters that I hope to be my next favorite (for my M&P .45). It's the General Butler model.

Personally I found the Comp-tac C-Tac (IWB) very uncomfortable for the 1911. I do find the Comp-tac OWB Paddle holster for my CZ-75Compact clone comfortable, but it's not the most concealable and I don't know what kind of clothes you'll be wearing in your undercover assignments. Some LEOs around here wear bulky sweatshirts for undercover . . . you can't notice any bulges that way.

I have tried IWB but do not like them. I find them uncomfortable. So I stick to a OWB. Not everyone can wear or like a IWB. I guess I'm one of them, maybe someday will find one I like.

I use both, depending on what I'm wearing that day.

The gun is CZ SP 01 SHADOW...a very fast shooting pistol.

As for holsters, I don`t have e favourite mark. I like inside pants holsters, because they give me the speed of drawing I need. I dont`t like the angle of the "pancakes".
