After reading all the great threads about Comp-tac's
outstanding holsters-MTAC- and super service I ordered
The MTAC for my Glock 27. I placed the order Sunday 6/8/08
and Received it today 6/12/08--4 DAYS from order to my front door-- by USPS Priority Mail.
Plus an email order confirmation and two status emails.
That is not only great service it's MAGIC!
Oh Yea - the Holster - upon first view and wearing for a few
hours it is as advertised, confortable, concealable and fits my
Glock 27&23 like a glove.
Thank You Comp-tac!
I had the same experience last week with a holster for my m&p 9mm. Ordered Sunday and received Friday. I might order an extra half case for my kahr pm9.
I have the model 9/40/357 slide.
yes it is the Glock23/27 slide
Here are a couple of pictures showing G23&27 and the Mtac.
I found that by lowering the gun placement on the belt
adds greatly to concealment, and still gives me a full drawing grip.
Thanks, Ray. Great pics. That helped me decide to go with the slide for my 23 and 27. I had considered just getting the one for the 23 assuming the 27 would work in that. However, your set up looks great.
Ray:
I have a Crimson Trace on my S&W snubby and love it. It seems that the CT for the Glock adds a good deal of girth to an already thick gun. Does the CT on your glocks affect the way they carry, particularly the way they conceal? Would you recommend them?

I agree, it sure seems like it increases the width substantially.

The CT laser port - (where the laser beam comes out)
does make an odd little bump if I am wearing a T shirt as cover.
If you can carry low ride then the bump is not as noticeable, and the general public seeing that little nub
would hardly think--Gun.
With all the stuff people carry on their belt today I doubt anyone would take notice of it one way or the other. I hope that helps.
Yes I would recommend them.
I just got my 2nd MTAC (G19) and I ordered it at 10:00 Monday night and the mail man dropped it off this morning. Comp-Tac really has their stuff together. I will do a lot of business with them in the future.
I have three of their Paddle Holsters. I just received one yesterday.
I also got a cute "Thank You" note and a package of candy mints. I decided that I must be a Special Customer.
I also think that all Comp-Tac customers are special to them.
They continue to be great to do business with. They make great holsters, and are very nice people.
