    comp-tac V-clips

I'm getting ready to purchase a Mtac holtster and a beltman 1.75 in bullhide belt for my XD service. My question is, How well do these V clips perform. I was thinking of getting the velcro backed belt V clips and standard comp tac clips just in case I didn't care for the velcro set up, especially since it only cost $25 more, give or take.

Get the V-clips! I use velcro clips with my Crossbreed and LOVE them. They totally hide behind the belt and don't shift at all. Check here for pics and my review which include the use of the v-clips

I like the standard clips more. I think the V-clips, since they hand from the inside of the belt, tend to bulge my belt out more than regular clips do. Also when I bought the v-clips they only came on the older wide, 3-hole style, not the thinner 5-hole style...

    Very interesting review.

I wonder if the Mtac with a closed holster would prevent the pant wear you mention?

Have you suggested to Crossbreed that your modification might be one they should consider?

    Thanks

    Thanks Mike.

Crossbreed is aware of the issue with some users, but at this time doesn't offer a fully covered slide model. It is true that because of the open muzzle other models have more of a chance of fitting. I just picked up a S&W 469 and it fits well in my SuperTuck which is designed for a P239 (granted the 469 has almost the same dimensions as a P239 except for grip thickness). As for now the added on leather helps protect my pants from muzzle wear.

I use the V-Clips and like the. But get the standard clips as well. The standard clips are longer / slimmer and provide a bit more adjustability. So if the v-clips don't do, you can swap them for the standard clips.
