    Versa Max and SIG

Yesterday I got to carry my new SIG P229 SAS for the first time, in its Milt Sparks Versa Max 2.

It is a great rig, but after carrying a Glock 26 (in a Watch Six) the SIG sure feels heavy! I'll get used to it I'm sure.

The Versa Max is horse with shark trim...even though others can't see it IWB, I can when I handle it, and each time I'll admire the fine materials and craftsmanship.

Very nice. The craftsmanship of the VMII is amazing. However I have found the lack of adjustability is just the same...amazing!

Sweet holster,The problem I have with tons of adjustability, is that I am constantly second guessing myself, this leads me to nonstop tinkering !

We are gun owners. It is our nature to tinker! Actually I have adjusted my MTAC once when I got it and am moving the from clip up one hole. This is where it will remain for my G30.

I better get out of here, that Sig is making my wallet heat up. The fiancee will kill me!

Got the SIG at Bud's...then there is a $100 rebate from SIG for LE, military, etc...a copy of my DOD ID got me that deal, so the net total came to $790.

I've want a 229 for a couple of years and putting it in Milt Sparks leather was part of the dream!

Cool that wallet down by lightening it up adaman....

Very nice, back when I was carrying my 220 it was in a VMII.

To this day, I still can't think of a better holster.

The 229 is my favorite Sig and that holster is simply outstanding (typical of Tony and his guys of course). I've been itching for some shark skin for a while now and you're just making it worse!

Congrats on a beautiful gun and carry rig, hope they both serve you well for years to come.

Very nice looking pair. They should make you happy for a very long time.
