Problem with my C-tac holster and new belt

I have a C.T.A.C. holster for my hk usp fullsize and with the addition of my new belt from "the belt man" the rear clip doest stay on the belt, it slides off the inside. My old belt (flimsy) worked fine with this holster. I am attaching some pic's. Look at hte rear c clip. Any clue on why this is happening? I already went ahead and ordered new clips.

    Thanks,

    Scott

It looks like the belt is a bit narrower than the C clip.

You might need to gently heat the top of the C clip and impart a slight downward angle to it.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

I had the same problem with mine. All you need to do is drill two new holes and do 2 countersink bevels on both of the clips to drop the holster down lower. It will work like a charm I promise!

Your "c" clips are too wide for your new belt. Call comp-tac and either get the proper size clips for the new belt, or go with the V clips. I use the V clips with the beltman belt and have never had a problem. Of course, I ordered the belt with the velcro lining anticipating that usage.

Comp-tac does supply a stick-on velcro strip for the inside of the belt, which I have used successfully in the past, but it will eventually come loose. Fortunately, it starts to slip, or one end loosens, so you get plenty of warning when it is going to fail.

    um...
looks like a 1.5 inch clip and a 1.5 inch old belt with a 1.25 inch new belt.

that 'll get 'ya every time.

c-tac will send you a set of properly sized clips (for a small fee). Check their site.

Thanks to everyone!!! The clips are 1.25 which is the size of the belt. I have ordered the new style clip and it got mailed yesterday so hopefully it will be here by friday.

Check your belt size. Must have been made overseas or in Mexico. It may be a Metric size belt
I am consistently on record and will continue to be on record as opposing concealed carry.

I think you'll really like the new style C clips. They hold the belt much better than the old style C clips. My MTAC came with them & I subsequently ordered a set for my Crossbreed Supertuck.

Looks to me like the rigid nature of the beltman belt is preventing the belt from following the contour of your body as well as the hoslter can.
