    Snub Nose.....pics in pocket???

I am contemplating picking up a j frame snub revolver. I have a few concerns about the width of the snubbie and having printing issues when carried in a holster in my front pocket.

I don't have any buddies with snubbies that I can do a test fit with so here I am looking for help.

I am looking for pics of snub nose revolvers carried in jeans, trousers/slacks etc. I know that the topic has been well discussed as I have found countless threads about j frame pocket carry, and seen lots of pics of snubbies in holsters (mostly sitting on nightstands, tables etc), so I am now focused on pics when carried. If possible could you also post the type of holster and gun with the accompanying pics.

    Thanks for the assistance

Sorry Super J no available pics this late and I'm off to NY tomorrow.
However I carry a 642 in a Mika pocket holster. It really is a comfortable carry and doesn't print at all. Jeans are a little tight but cargo type shorts or docker type pants work well.
If the pockets are not that deep then I make sure my shirt is long enough to cover my pocket to make sure the grip is covered.
I've gone to all the shopping places and even a few HOA meetings and never once did anyone even come close to noticing. Trust me if they knew I was carrying at the meetings they would freak!!!

These are pics of my SP101 in my pocket in a low dollar uncle mikes holster...

The shirt covers real well and then there are 2 pics with the shirt pulled up to demonstrate how the pistol rides.
I use this quick trips... most of the time I use a crossbreed supertuck though....

Geeez. That looks like if you even raised your arm to blow your nose it would reveal your gun...

A J frame in the pocket is the perfect way to carry, especially if you're new to CCW. No one is going to question that lump in your pocket. 99.99% of the people won't even see a lump. It's quick access (except in the car), it's easy on/easy off, and .357 packs a hell of a punch. Go for it.
Just don't put anything else in that pocket...throw a stripper clip in another pocket too, just for good measure

I don't know if you're new or anything, but if so, a belly band ( a good one, like Galco's) should be the next step. it'll tell you if you want an IWB holster, and it's infinitely adjustable, so you'll know what to shop for when you get a belt mounted holster. they may be a little uncomfortable, but you just can't beat it for deep concealment either.

S&W 642 with CT grip in a Galco Horsehide pocket holster. I'm raising my leg a little to make it print more. No one has ever mentioned the lump in my pocket and I'm in & out of customer's offices every day.

I pocket carry most of the time. I am in construction/sales. I deal with customers all the time, usually at their kitchen table, but always in the backyard. Never had a peep out of them. My co-workers have never noticed and that is where I get my holsters delivered, lol. They know have my permit and ask me if I carry. I just turn around and ask them if looks like I am carrying, lol. They say No. They think I leave it in the truck.

When I buy shorts, which I usually wear, I buy ones with deep pockets. The shorts in the pictures are Croft and Barrow from Kohls. They have the biggest pockets I have found. I have bigger hands and they make it easy to draw. I have it in a Mika holster

I think people get too caught up in this whole printing / showing thing.

I take pretty good precautions to prevent my firearm from printing or showing.
Wearing hawaiin shirts, larger tank tops etc.. as a LEO I can usually spot who is carrying and where, but my wife and friends have a hard time till I point it out.

What I am really trying to say is that most people have no idea and really are not paying that close attention to you anyways. A little bulge most likely will go unnoticed....

I agree. The bulge that may be visible under my shirt might be detectable as a gun to a trained and interested eye, but most people aren't trained, aren't aware, and aren't interested. I do a good concealment job but do not worry too much about printing.

I have three pairs of those shorts!

They are perfect for CCW. Big pockets for pocket carry (which I don't do these days). The elastic waist and wide belt loops make an IWB holster disappear, for both the wearer and observers.

Yeah, I carry my Crossbreed Supertuck...comfy. I just like to pocket carry in the summer at work.

Exactly. Most people would likely think it's a cell phone, ipod, mp3 player, etc...
