No experience with that model, but Tucker makes great products. His HF1 serves me well for a rough and tumble OWB.

I regards to front sight style, I imagine that if one has a exceptionally large front sight (i.e. XS Big Dot) they may require the Extra Tall option.
But, I am just guessing and could be way off. I would give them a call tomorrow to inquire.

I actually just bought one. Delivered yesterday. I am still evaluating it. Stand by to stand by.
I have been using the Comp-Tac which I love. I wanted that in all leather which is why I bought this. I also have the XS big dot sights on my carry gun, and no problems with it.

I have a Tucker Answer for my Kimber Ultra. I decided on the Answer over the Texas Heritage after talking to Rob Longenecker, based on ease of one-handed reholstering. It's very comfortable and stable for all day wear. As with the Texas Heritage, the adjustable ride/cant is useful, so you can get it dialed in just right for you.
I also have two HF1s for OWB carry.
Tucker's quality and customer service are second to none, and the guarantee makes it a no-lose proposition. I have no hesitation in recommending a Tucker holster.
Cheers,
Rod

I have had two for going on two years now- one for a 1911 Commander and one for a CZ75 Compact. These are FANTASITC holsters. Very comfortable, conceal amazingly well (I wear a t-shirt and shorts with no problem). I have both smooth in and smooth out and really don't notice much (if any) differance in performance.
The only bad thing I can say about Tucker is the wait is just too dang long!!!!! - guess thats the price you pay for a quality product.
Jump on that holster!! I have one that carries a full frame 5" 1911 daily, and I see around 30 people a day in my line of work, up close and personal. I don't use any cover other than my shirts tucked in, and it does the job beautifully and comfortably!! You can't lose!
I was just looking at Tucker today, wondering what the heck rough out was.
I think I'll be ordering this holster tonight, and with the turn around time I bet I get the holster before my TX CHL![]()

I have an Answer for a G19 which replaced a CTAC that never felt comfortable. I can't offer any advice on the Texas Heritage except to say that talking to Rob Longenecker is your best bet.
I have been carrying my XD9sc in a Texas Heritage for more then a year now. It is a fantastic holster. As to the options, call the phone number or send an e-mail and Rob will answer your questions (roughout is like suede, and smooth is...smooth). Great guy to do business with, very honorable. And Tucker makes top notch holsters.
