Anyone know what the little loop with the leather tab is for? I've been thinking about it off and on for a day and a half now and can't figure it out. I picked one up yesterday, decided I couldn't wait for my main holster and having a backup isn't a bad idea anyway. Thanks.

It is a safety strap, it is pulled up and over the hammer or tang of the gun to keep it in the holster. Most tuck it out of the way or cut it off. It is not a natural motion to disengage it.

The little rubber loop doesn't last long anyhow. It's real thin and snaps after a couple weeks of use. Al

it's a decent enough holster, for most modern pistols; 1911 are too slim to fit in them correctly, but it's fine for glocks, sigs, XDs, etc.

Ah, ok. I thought it was a retention strap of somekind but I couldn't and still don't see a fast way to remove it.
