Is anyone still waiting for a Brommeland holster?

Yes, I bought a Def-Con maybe a month ago, and it was $139.99 + S&H.
I visited the site yesterday, and was really surprised.
I do not blame CCA as they know what they need to charge to make a profit. I guess Gary has made a significant price increase, and CCA has to pass it on.
I am glad they have been handling his holsters. I have a Def-Con for a Kahr P9 that I got from Gary after 16 months. He had the problem of moving. I then got the one for my 1911 Compact. Glad I got it before the price went up. Although it is my favorite OWB I would have passed at $189.99.

Prices have certainly gone up. But I'm sure he's delivering them really, really fast now . . .

I have a Def-Con and a Max-Con VI and despite all of the issues people have been having they are excellent holsters. I wear the Max-Con every single day all day long with my G19.

That's a heckuva price increase, but I gotta tell ya, I got one for my XD 45 a little over a year ago (I had to wait several months), but it's a great, great holster and you won't go wrong, no matter the price.

Only about half of an order that was placed and paid for in early 2005.

Yeah that's a little too high. A Brommeland is one of the only holsters that I don't own but at that price I could have all Shark from Sparks or Rosen's full detail. I don't mind spending money on quality leather and I don't mean to insult CCA/Brommeland, but at $190 + Shipping, I would look elsewhere.

Good grief, I'd suggest looking at Milt Sparks Watch Six or Versa Max...the prices for the Brommeland product look outrageous to me!

With the in-stock inventorying method at Coal Creek, availability will truly be immediate. And he may finally begin to profit well by his decision to change the business model. Good for him, I say, as it isn't worth dying for.

I noticed this several months ago. I bought mine directly from Gary a few years ago for about 70 bucks...now 2 1/2 times that much! It surely is a quality product but I would hafta pass at that price unfortunately. So for those that got his stuff early on....keep it in good condition cuz replacing it might be impossible.... heck it costs me 200 bucks to fill my gas tank!...it wasn't near that much back when i bought my Max-Con. lol
This is mine. That is yours.
Lets keep it that way.

I gave up waiting ,waiting and waiting some more, canceled my order went with an M Tac. The M Tac has been GREAT. Now at $189.99, I KNOW I won't be buying a Brommeland holster in the future.

One of 3 things will happen......
1) He'll sell them as fast as he can make them at the new price which will prove that his price point is correct for the market.
2) He'll continue to have a backload of orders which will indicate that the product is still underpriced to the market.
3) He'll see a reduction in sales such that his revenues drop in spite of the higher price point indicating that he's outpriced the market.
It's a great product.....until you test the market, you don't know what the market will support.

I know his stuff is pretty good. But it seems like to me there are a lot more good leather makers out there. They cost less and get your product to you. From what I have seen on this forum the custoemr services sucks. Why would pay that much for something from somebody who does not deliver reliably.
