It's an IWB holster with no snaps/clips/velcro just straight up friction to keep it on.

I would worry about it slipping down my pants or flopping out or my gun slipping out...but if you wear your pants tight enough and the rubber pad is sticky enough who knows?

I remember the first time I saw those little rubber pads that stick to your dash and hold glasses/pens/stuff without them falling off. I didn't think it would work but that does.

Mexican carry has been around quite ahile... I think the concerns about it falling down your pants are a bit overdone. The problem I have is when it falls out of your pants - which this holster might fix if it's well made. OTOH I've never been able to get a combat grip with this type of carry - since the grip is resting on the lip of your belt/pants you have to shuffle your grip during draw or live with a low grip.

Down the pants is one thing, but what if you are drawing because your life depends on it and the dang holster is still on the gun when you try to present it ?

I would not wear it if given to me. It could not be very tight to the gun, and still permit a draw where the holster would not come out with the gun.

A bad idea in my view.

No way, I am with every one else in saying that it will either fall out or you will have the holster still on the gun when you try to draw. Is a clip or loop really that much of an issue?? I really don't see the point of this other than novelty.

I'm going with no, mainly for ozshadow's point.

Gun and gear write ups are great but I take them with a grain of salt. When was the last time someone got a free holster and wrote a negative thing about it? Doesn't happen much.

Gotta go with a negative on that one...You need something to keep the holster attached but allows the gun to be removed..when you need it!

IWB holsters are too uncomfortable for me to begin with, let alone one that isn't secured and can move around on your waist.

At least with Mexican carry you have the profile of the gun to help hold it in place. Not that I would ever carry in this manner, but with the above holster that profile is lost. I would think in a matter of minutes the gun would be in my cowboy boot!! Not for me Thank You!!

I'm all about new ideas, but sometimes they are going to miss the target.

After reading the holster maker's web site, I wouldn't buy anything from him anyhow.
But maybe that's just me.

That's a big negatory on that one. If I ever have to pull out my weapon to defend myself, I don't want the holster coming with it. I want it positively locked to the belt.
