Ever heard the old wives tale about waving "red" in front of bulls?

I'm sure stuff made by Israel is like waving a red flag in front of the proverbial bull, no matter who is wearing the article and no matter what the affiliation might be. Still they have some good gear there and the Shabak jacket seems well made for warm climates. It's on my "MAYBE" or "NICE TO HAVE" lists.

Mernickle Gun Leather
I have the PS6 System for my P230 and P239 and love them. It rides high and gets out of the holster very fast. I first ordered for my Kimber Ultra Carry. A friend ordered for his 911 and is very satisfied. I have run into a minor problem. It has a flap, on the back, that goes under the belt which helps pull the gun in tight. However, sometimes that flap conflicts with belt loops that are not in the right spot. Had my wife move the loop to the appropiate location. I wear at about 3:30 to 4:00. I have used many different not custom and the difference is noticeable. At one time, I had a Rosen UPL for the P239 but did not work for me. It was a excellent made holster. Stick to custom, if you can!!!!!!

I've owned Mitch Rosen and Bulman and can vouch for both. Bulman and Sherrick are far more cost-effective.
It does look nice - but from the pictures it does not appear as high as the US High Ride. I look at where the trigger guard comes to rest in relation with the belt slots.

2. It is not as easy to draw from beneath a shirt with the tail worn out. A shirt will only raise so much, and I find the high ride holsters make is harder to get the shirt tail to clear the gun.
I do admit they do not need such a long cover garment, but I much prefer the low ride, and wear my shirts with long tails. Of course with a suit coat on it makes no difference.

Jerry
I'll give you the extra motion - but it will only be 1-3 inches depending on the low ride one currently might be carrying.
The cover garment - you will still have excess material to tend with no matter which holster one chooses. I can wear a shorter garment with an extreme high ride - you will have to wear a longer garment - but the distance or amount of material we have to raise will be approx the same - unless you wear a trench coat.

+1 on the Don Hume,
I carry my 4" XD40 in the H721 OT everyday under an un-tucked polo or t-shirt without any problems. I highly recommend the Don Hume H721 OT its a great holster for the price.

I thought high-ride OWB would be perfect for me (Garrity Stead-Fast), but the high ride actually made the butt (and hammer, actually) of the gun much more visible than it was in my already-somewhat-high-riding Kramer. If you're thicker in the middle than me (I've got a 29" waist and a 40" jacket), and/or only wear very loose clothing, this might not be such an area of concern.
And no one will be able to tell that one of those Shabak shirts is, in fact, a Shabak shirt while you're walking down the street. If you were in a long conversation with me, I might ask if it was one (I own two...). If you're concerned that a sleeper AQ terrorist is going to shoot you instead of someone else on the street because he's noticed you're wearing a shirt connected somehow with Israel (although neither of mine are made there or carry any Israeli label IIRC), I think you're a little down in the weeds on your selection of a cover garment. They're just work shirts, and they cover your gun just fine. Not really high-fashion, but they get the job done for some circumstances; for me, they're ideal when I have to carry a lot more on my belt than just a gun and mags.

Buy a good gun belt also if you don't already own one. A good belt is a necessary item
I'll second all of the above.

Thanks for all the replies and info guys. I am going to try OWB and see how it goes. I am probably going to go with a medium high ride holster. Because, yes, I do have some love handles. I think one of the super high rides would push the but out to much.

I hear good things about OWB holsters that ride fairly high & keep the grip close to the body.

Full size 1911 in Don Hume J.I.T. all summer long......No Worries and very comforting/comfortable. You must have a good gun belt for the big guns.

I'm 6'4" and have found that if I buy only XLT sized shirts, I can pretty much get away with OWB carry of my Ultra Carry. I also have a M-TAC for those IWB carrying days.

I carry an XD.45 compact in either a K&D Holster adjustable locking cant Maverick Defender (IWB & OWB) or a Dakota Defender (IWB) or a Eagle Defender (OWB) each of them is an exceptionally well made holster extremely comfortable. You can not go wrong with a K&D Holster

Which gun is it for?
I might have The Slide already made for it. So no waiting.
