One is not enough! New UBG for Hi-Power! Pictures!

We all know that you need an OWB holster as well as an IWB for a carry piece. I'd been wanting one of these for a while, and when I got the Browning Hi-Power, it gave me the perfect opportunity to acquire one: The Regulator by Nate of UBG Holsters. As I mentioned in the other thread, the grips are by Craig Spegel, and although his work isn't visible in these pics, Steve Cline's outstanding trigger work is certainly apparent at the range!

Okay I admit it. I really, really like shark trim . . .

    Cheers,

Very nice contrast - does the shark trim help reinforce the mouth, or is it all cosmetic?

That's a great looking holster. I've got a couple of Nate's Regulators and so far they're my favorite OWB holsters.

It helps to have some great holster makers who talk straight, keep their promises, and deliver a great product at a fair price in a reasonable amount of time. That's worth a lot!!

Any extra leather or skin will help support the mouth of the holster and keep it open for reholstering.

I've seen a lot of cordovan/black shark trimmed rigs lately, and have also decided this is a favorite color scheme. Almost enough to make me not mind the wait on fine leather!

Beautiful holster rig. Nate does great work with a reasonable turn-around time for a custom product.

Right now, Nate at UBG can deliver in about 5 weeks, and Eric Larsen (HBE) can deliver in just about 2 weeks! So, the wait for custom leather is not as bad as you might think.

Looks good, Nate's work always impresses me, I don't think any two of his rigs look alike.

Here's my HP rig from UBG.

Nice, JD. I'm just loving the BHP. Especially after the new grips and trigger job. My step-daughter used it to qualify for her Texas CHL and shot really well. I guess ol' JMB kinda knew what he was doing . . .

Well actually, IIRC most of the current design is owed to that other guy that was working with JMB.

But I do agree, the design is fantastic.
