    Pocket Mag Pouches

I do not like IWB or OWB mag holders so when I do carry an extra magazine I just throw it in my pocket.... Does anyone make a nylon case the slips over the magazine so no lint and other junk gets inside the mag? I guess a single pouch would work, but i don't really want the belt clips on it as it may make it to bulky for my liking. Thanks for the help.

They do make pocket mag carriers. I don't think that I'd want a "cap" that would go over the top of the mag as that wold be one more thing I'd need to remove from a magazine prior to reloading.

I just use a knife sheath for pocket carry, I want my mags in something, all that pocket lint sure wouldn't be a good thing to get down in my mags.

I have also seen some make them ( DIY) from Kydex, this would be the slimest profile.

I have one from Alex Nossar that I use a lot. I have no idea how he made it without stitching, but it is holding up nicely.

I regularly use a DeSantis Mag-Packer (pictured above) to carry an extra mag for a 1911. It does a good job of orienting the magazine for fast retrieval, yet also breaking up the outline for concealability -- not that it's that big a deal for a mag, anyway. It also protects the mag from lint accumulation, and helps protect your pocket from wear. It's a good option to have.

    Ditto on the Mag-Packer. I've used it for my single-stack .40 P239 and .45 P220. I like it a lot.

I use the Mag Packer occasionally, usually use a Milt Sparks PCH-M (left handed version) for 1911. I just ordered a 2 mag pouch from a maker I found in a thread here. Unfortunately I screwed up the order and got one for a .25 Auto! (my fault). So now I await the exchange to try the 1911 double mag carrier.....

    Pocket Magazine Carrier

Hello everyone, wow you guys are so classy. I use an Uncle Mike's #2 pocket pal. It works well with a 13 round Browning magazine or an XD9sc 10 round magazine. If I don't carry a spare magazine it fits my P32.

I will give another thumbs up for the Desantis MagPacker - use one for a 1911 and another for a double-stack 9mm mag. Works very well.....
