Velcro clib's gripping power is amazingly strong . I can't imagine any carry gun being so heavy as to rip the velcro loose. But I really couldn't say for sure for your gun.

Perhaps others would have a better handle on how well velcro clip holsters hold up.

The sagging of the belt would be a bigger concern, I would think. A good stiff belt is essential for any heavy gun.

Plus 1. I carry my Sig P226 in a Galco Summer Comfort @ around 4:30. Just so you know I am 5'10, 220. I wear it all day with jeans, a tshirt, and an undershirt. I picked it up for around $60 @ a gunshop. See if the gunstore you go to will let you try some holsters on and put your gun in them.

Comp-Tac C-Tac or M-Tac. Plus they have some of the best customer service out there.

Check out Tucker Gunleather's offerings. I have 3 for 3 different size guns and they all work great.

I can't appendix carry, I had mine removed when I was in the 7th grade. So I went to an MTAC for my P229. It works wonderful. I can tuck my shirt in if I need to, I have carried in places that discovery would be grave (not illegal, just a social oops).
