Colt Lawman III carry options?

New to group and liking it very much.
I have a Colt Lawman III 2" barrel revolver w/nice nickel plate. What are my options for concealed carry? I would like to be able to carry it with a long shirt on hot days, but yet I would like to have it available on cold winter days as well.
I have a nylon Cordura holster that my belt goes through, but it makes me crazy because it makes the whole setup top heavy and floppy (hardly concealed and uncomfortable).
I saw "paddle" holsters on ebay and wondered how well they work (if I could find one for my Colt). Do they ride a bit lower?
Would a holster for say, a S&W 2" revolver work for mine?
Feel free to mention brands, and keep in mind, I know some about firearms, but close to zero on holsters and other carry options.

No, a holster for a S&W will not fit your Colt. Different frame sizes.

One problem you might find is that since your revolver is a discontinued model (the Lawman Mark III was made from 1969 to 1982), many holster makers won't have a mould for it.

About all you can do is start searching the holster makers.

First, you need a good quality Gunbelt, oreferably one by the holster maker.

Next. take a look at Greg Kramer, Milt Sparks and Matt Del Fatti, one of them probably makes a Holster for your gun.
