Eric Larsen is back . . . (pics)

I have been a fan of fine leather for years. I have owned rigs by Matt. Delfatti, Sparks and Allessi all have been very good holsters indeed. A few years ago I started to notice Eric Larson at HBE leather was making some good stuff as well. Just about the time I thought I would place an order he started to get some bad PR. I will say no more than that.
So two weeks ago I was surfing the net and went to his sight and saw an already made IWB for my Commander. It was a good price so I said what the heck. I ordered it and ask him to make me a mag pouch to match.

First thing I noticed was he emailed me back via a blackberry. We made the deal and he made me a mag pouch to go with it and I had it within 2 weeks. The service was great and the product his even better.

As to the holster it rides high with just the right amount of draw resitance. It conceals well and feel comfortable. The mag pouch also works well and have been wearing both every day for a week. They are quality leather.

i have no complaints what so ever and can with out reservation recommend him. Give him a look see and don't believe all the web hype - Eric is back and better then ever.

    Nice Gear.

I'm trying to decide on a good IWB for my 3" 1911 right now. HBE is on my short list.

Nice gun too, You're braver than I am putting your gun on the bricks like that.

That's great to hear. He makes some of the best looking leather around. I have some old and new business for him. BTW, I really like that holster!

Thanks for the kind words guys....I sincerely appreciate it. Thats a holster I made for me and my CBOB.

It looks really good....the OS Pro (OS stands for Offset loops) was a risky design by works very very well.

Thanks again and god bless...Im glad you like your leather.

That's some interesting material there! Is that just a rough-out leather in black for the lower part?

I love the Com III Eric made for my Hi-Power!

I think Eric has learned a great lesson and he has bettered himself through the ordeal. I will give a man like that credit instead of taking the easy road out he stood up and took his lashings and he is still in there making quality leather. Good Job Eric!!

The entire holster is rough out with the exception of the body shield and mouthband which are one piece and the belt loops. The color is dark brown/cordovan type color.
