loks like it would put the hammer in my armpit. Probably stay put well due to the flat outboard slot design. Wouldn't want to have to draw from that holster though.

It's for those gang bangers with their pants riding 1 foot lower than the rest of civilized society.
you carry a pistol with the sights on the side of the slide as well

Seriously, seems like an unstable carry.

Wow.....it seems fairly heavily built but its still WAY to high for my tastes. Hmmmmmm. To each their own.

    Shoot well.

    I Would Say

I would say a really thick, stiff, new gun belt (pulled real nice & tight) would be an absolute necessity for that holster.
A fully loaded 1911 has a lot of weight up there at the handle.
I think it's probably a workable holster...if the holster leather is dense enough & the belt stiff enough.

That does ride REALLY high. My Stead-Fast design was made to ride hide; but doesn't ride quite that high, and I found it necessary to add an additional belt slot tunnel on the rear of the holster body in addition to the front and rear belt slots in order to stabalize it and pull it tight to the body. I also cut the front low to the ejection port so the draw stroke wasn't un-natural.

Man I would dislocate my shoulder on the draw. I think only Martin Riggs (Mel Gibson in Lethal Weapon) could draw that one and still be able to put his shoulder back in the socket.
