I use one a lot for my 1911.

i carry my Sigma in one, great holster.
Thought of getting one. Do they ride high or low? I've got a hard earned love handle (ok-innertube) and anything that rides high gets pushed out and prints really bad. If the weapon rides low the luv handles actually help cover it. Anyone have the same problem?

I've got one for my XD9sc. It does ride high and like you my dimensions tend to cause it to print more than I'd like under just a shirt. But, I really got it for use camping/range/OC and maybe winter carry. I'm looking at a Supertuck (iwb) for more everyday CC.
I do like the sportster and feel that drawing from it is easy to learn. I'm still playing with the cant and belt positions to try and reduce printing and improve comfort. I also got a Blackhawk! belt which I like so far. It has the insert so is pretty stiff but I am hard on belts anyway. I'm 5'10" 242 (I do work out so its not ALL fat)
Cy
it rides a little high and prints a little bit
