I prepare for an accident like I prepare for robbers/theives/muggers.

wear protective gear incase of an accident but hope to never have one.

basicly the same train of thought as CCW only applied to a motorcycle. for that reason I have though about either getting a should rig to wear under my jacket or have a holster mounted inside the jacket as that is the safest place for the gun incase of a wreck.

When I ride I leave the bigger stuff at home & go with a Rossi .38 snubby in a pocket holster. That way if I wreck & lose the gun, I'm not out lots of $$.

Barney's has a nice assortment of leather that has gun pockets built into it. Fits my G26 nicely..

In the summer months I carry a P3AT 380 in my jeans back pocket inside a Nemesis holster.

I ride with my Gov't 1911 tucked into my IWB holster about 5 o'clock and longer shirt to cover it.

I used to carry in a FIST Kydex for years; now I have a M-TAC (been over a month and it's getting better everyday) that I use everyday, whether I am shopping, driving, riding, and also flying (corporate). I ride my dresser almost everyday; in summer I have a T-shirt, sometimes a shirt, tucked, when it gets cooler I wear a vest and sometimes a shoulder rig.
I don't see what makes riding different, except that I might not use a SOB for fear of injury in a crash ...

Not really ... only if displayed in a threatening manner; experienced it myself several times with LEOs.
