    Question Bring it on

It is going to start getting cold here in PA soon. And still wanting to cling to guns and religion, it will be soon time to start carrying my new M&P 45 and put my M&P 9c away for the fall and winter. I'm looking for advice on IWB holsters for the 45. I don't want to wait six months, although I may spring for a really good holster down the road, I need something fairly quickly.

    CROSSBREED Supertuck.

I honestly think it is the best IWB holster there is as far as comfort and concel-ability.

Get a Crossbreed and be done with your search and wait time - it really is that easy. My opinion from purchasing way too many holsters is Crossbreed is the winner for IWB. 2nd would be Comp-Tac's MTAC

+1 for the Crossbreed. Also, take a look at Comp-Tac.

HBE Com3. Absolutely one of the best high end holsters on the market at under $115 and the delivery period is likely to be about 3 weeks but call Eric at HBE to be sure. Not fast enough? Check out a AJ Concealco holster and call them to see what they have in stock. It's a very good design if you carry at 3:00 - 3:30.

    Have'em both, recommend them both.

TT Gunleather is putting out some quality these days, if you looking for leather, otherwise Comp-Tac is great too.

I believe there is a few month wait at TT Gunleather though so that may not help you.

Rosen's express lines are out the door in few weeks as well, if anything there interests you.

I like to order my IWB holster (VM-II) in the cooler months because of the 6 month wait. Being cooler, I can use an OWB holster and wear a cover garment like a jacket or wool shirt etc.

Thanks, guys. I'm really starting to want to carry the 45. I was on the road today and I knew I was going to be going by this gun range I joined in the summer for $10 per year. My buddy had his XD with him. I shot 50 rounds through the 45 and I can shoot the thing better than my 9c. Man, life is good.

Don't forget to search out Fist holsters through the Related Links above...you'll have a great leather holster, at a reasonable price, in about 3-5 weeks.

    Stay armed...use Fist holsters...stay safe!

Off to Fist I go. Holsters are kinda like women and guns. Too many and not enough time. Although, since I'm married I have to stick with the guns. Got to have some vices.

You can have an MTAC in 10 days and be eating a roll of smarties to boot.

I will toss in my vote for a Crossbreed Supertuck. Great holster and great service to boot.

Now don't get me wrong here...I have a Supertuck and it surely has its place for its tuckable feature but my Max-CON is much more comfortable. The Supertuck is comfortable too but is a bit thicker...probably due to the hard shaped nature of the kydex. There is a UBG thread just above this thread and his wait seems very reasonable. If tuckability is not a concern I personally would stick to leather due to the thickness.
This whole post of mine hinges on IWB carry. If going OWB then this post holds no weight for the original poster.

    Lets keep it that way.
