FINALLY got a holster for my Kimber.
My Kimber CDP II has been wanting a holster for a really long time so I picked up a Galco Royal Guard IWB (RG266) and it feels very good. I guess in a week or two I'll know just how much I like or dislike it. It was $85 at Wild Sports in Sacramento, CA. Does anybody here have any experience with this holster?

Which CDP? Ultra, Compact, or Pro?
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

I do not own one, but have examined them in the stores.
While they are not comparable to the custom makers, Galco is a decent holster in my view. If you found one and like it you did well, and without weeks or months of waiting.
You very well might decide to go the custom route in time, but in the meantime you have a suitable holster.
Best,
Jerry

Yeah, I think it'll be plenty serviceable without breaking my bank account.

I have one I use for my 5" Kimber. I've used it for a couple of years now and have been very pleased with it. It still looks great and has held up extremely well. I really like the horsehide leather and the reinforced opening of this model. In my opinion, of all the mass produced, enter and leave the store with a holster, Galco's are top notch.

Galco has been making holsters for a very long time. Before they were Galco International they were Jackass Leather company. Just FYI.
