looking for help
I have a beretta 8045 cougar that I am finding it impossible to find a holster for, trying to stay away from the makers with looong wait times, also should mention I'm a lefty which just really throws a wrench in the process. Looking for any ideas, suggestions.

Buy an new gun?
I'd suggest just order the holster you want from one of the major makers with a long wait and settle in. You won't be sorry when it finally arrives!

Check here for the immediate needs, Main Index - HolsterTrade.com...
My gun shop carries a couple brands that are good IMO. DeSantis and Galco holsters in leather. I would also recommend Mitch Rosen holsters, and they have been very timely in the past for me. Also...when searching holster websites, you might find some with closeouts or inventory reductions of those holsters that may not have been sold or are not in high demand any more. Some sites will list any particular holster as 'in stock', or 'order'. Good luck with it then.

A quick search found opticsplanet.com with a bunch...
I did search Fist and couldn't find it on their gun list...that's a surprise...

if kydex is ok Comp-Tac might be an option but you'd need to check on the specific model you're looking at as to availability for that weapon.
