IWB holster suggestions for a Glock 23

I am interested in finding a relatively inexpensive IWB holster for my Glock 23. I currently do not own an IWB holster for the G23 that I carry every day and was wondering if anyone could suggest something that costs in the $50 to $100 range.

I carry OWB all the time and I know what I am doing with OWB holsters but I am pretty inexperienced with IWB holsters.

You just have to try this. Well, because it works so well for me and the G19/G27!

I don't know how many times or threads I've posted in about this holster, but it's been my EDC support for the past summer. I don't believe enough can be said about it.

Based on suggestions of people on this forum, I ordered an MTAC for my G26. I have heard a lot of praise for the MTAC...too bad mine hasn't arrived yet

I like the look of that holster RamRod, and the price is great. Thanks!

I have an MTAC. I have tried others, but always come back to it.

You like easy 'on and off'?
You like a clip that won't come off and is strong enough to actually work without a belt for that quick 'around the block' need for your sidearm?
Do you dislike holsters that just make the holster box bigger?

There are many models out there.

You may find one that does not work for you and have to liquidate it.

The first question would be leather or kydex? I have found leather to be more comfortable.

In the price range look at Blade Tech for Kydex or a hybrid type like Crossbread. Galco makes a Royal guard in horse leather you can get at places like LAPolice gear, or Product Wizard. Anoter option might be Simply Rugged holsters.

Most of us have tried holsters until we find our what works.

I love my C-TAC for my 1911 and plan to get one for a G21sf when I get it.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

Those are my two suggestions. The Rosen will be a lot quicker and IMHO his "Express Line" stuff beats Galco, Desantis and Bianchi hands down.

Holsters, like which brand of shoes and handguns have both their supporters and detractors. In the price range you mentioned there are plenty of choices. As mentioned the MTAC from CompTac is a great option and the delivery is fast. Also check out Crossbreed. Both of these are kydex with leather backing against the body. I am currently looking to add a Raven holster to my mix for a G32 based on a number of reviews I have read. Good luck.

I have a Raven Concealment holster on order for my G19. Currently use a Comp-Tac MTAC, but the raven will replace that as soon as it arrives. I like it that much.

I have always been a little leery of IWB holsters that utilize a spring steel clip to keep the holster secured in the pants and to the belt. Since you recommend this holster so highly, can I assume you own and use one? If so, tell me how well the clip keeps the holster from trying to pull out of the pants with the gun when drawn.

I bought a Crossbreed over a year ago before I knew anything about holsters, nor had a good belt.

Now that I have a Beltman belt and know a little more about what I like, I wear my Crossbreed (with the G23) every day. As a matter of fact, I just got back from a 3+ mile walk tonight (which I do every night) and I don't feel my holster/gun at all now that wear a wifebeater underneath.

I understand the CBs are now Tuckable.

I am the other member retsupt referred to and I can tell you that the clip is one of the best in the holster business. It keeps the holster firmly in place when you draw.
