Does it have to be IWB? I searched and searched for an IWB mag holster and after my searching and trying some I came to a conclusion. They are all way too thick in the pants.

OWb isn't bad with magazines like a Glock 19 and smaller. Single stack is not noticeable at all through a light t-shirt with a holster that holds snugly.

    IWB

    Hey man,

Try Tim with TT Gunleather. I have talked to a customer or two who have one from him and they like them. It does add bulk so if your pants are a 34, they would be roughly 36 with an IWB Pistol and almost 38 with the IWB Mags... I have tried it and I am not fond of it. I wear either a Blade Tech single, a G&G paddle or one of my own OWB mag pouches.

I was "hoping" for IWB, but did not know about the thickness issue . . . . I primarily want something in leather that is comfortable, easy to get on & off, and does'nt print . . . .

I use a Galco mag pouch for my Kimber .45 mags...I have a double with a paddle, and a single with a plastic clip.

Comfort was the issue for me. It was too much width inside the pants and it pulled the belt away from my body and left gaps. That's really my gripe. Printing wasn't a problem either, but I've found that OWB mags work fine if you just try not to think about people looking at you. Nobody is staring at you and nobody knows what you have. If they did, you'd be questioned my police at some point in the day. I realized that it was all in my head. OWB mags is just fine with the right gear that puts your mind at ease and then don't think about it.

IWB pouches make the sharp top of the mag poke me way too much. A good OWB pouch will keep the bottom of the pouch just about even with the bottom of the belt, so are easy to conceal with just a t-shirt.

I agree. I carry a pistol IWB everyday with no comfort issues. Mag pouches on the other hand simply do not work IWB for me. A high ride OWB mag pouch is the ticket for me, YMMV.

You carry a Sparks Summer Special?

Then get a Sparks Model IPS mag carrier.

I have found no comfort issues with it. Works well for me.

Minimalistic, huh? I wish. My belt size is 40 inches.

"Mature folks"? I'm 65. Does that qualify?

Call Craig and Audrey at Lightning Arms Sports.

They should have it in stock.
