Sounds funny, but I use panty hose wrapped around the gun a couple times to break in the holster. It goes in better and pulls out easier with the panty hose. Just wrap one of your wife/GF's hose around the gun and let it sit for several hours if not over night.

Haha - there ya go Bruce - panty hose all the way
I know it is on tight side but the other rig I have (OWB) made by Andy (of Horseshoe Leather) is also still quite tight - in fact it suits my BHP well - but over time these can and will ease. Better that way IMO.
He works in UK as some folks know - sad he cannot make rigs any more for the folks there but - he has been going many years and so I think has still quite a good customer base in many countries. I met him at a shoot back in 80's.
Thx for the pics too - quick work

Gary B. recommends using waxed paper (kitchen variety) although the pantyhose ideas sounds good. The waxed paper idea worked well with my new MaxConV which was pretty tight when I received it recently. After wearing it about a week now, the holster draws well and still holds the gun well in the upside down position.

update, I wraped it in the plastic bag my Colt XSE came in and stuffed it into the holster yesterday evening, I just pulled it out and checked the fit, and its getting better. Slides in easier, but when its on the belt its still quite hard to get the gun out, so I wraped it back up in the plactic stuck it back in and will check again tomorrow.
As far as SOB carry, the but of the gun is in the same place it is when I carry in my OWB high ride holster, right about the 4:30-5:00 position, and you defently need a quality CCW belt when using a SOB holster as it puts a decent strain on my belt.

Bruce - another suggestion comes to mind -
The ''ears'', the slot pieces, need over time to develop a slight set from the belt, much as the OWB does you have and like my Eagle Defender. So, looked at from above - instead of all leather being in a near straight line, you want to see a shallow letter ''U'' instead.
Initially before this set takes place those ''ears'' are holding the rig in a bit too tight and so the gun is held more secure than needed.
Other then wearing it around a lot - maybe use a spare belt and leave it with those ''ears'' pulled together a bit - with gun in place. Accelerate that required set.
If you can see what I mean!
