Talking Just ordered my first Beltman...

And my first real "gunbelt" per se. I read and reread the sizing info and believe I've got the appropriate size. Went with a 1 1/2" Brown with a black square buckle and 7, 3/4" spaced holes . Can't wait to get it. Is there any tips on break-in or anything to expect other than "strap it on and go"?

I just put mine on and went with it.

I love my Beltman belt. I wear it almost every day.

    Put it on and go.

    You're gonna love your belt!

Don't try to coil it up too tight or fold it too much like a regular belt. It will damage the leather and make it go limp, which is a no-no for a gunbelt.

Best belt I've ever owned. You'll love yours.

Nothing out of the ordinary required, as mentioned above. Beltman makes GREAT gun belts, I just ordered myself another one a week ago. I have several different sizes and colors. Of the different brands I've tried, I like his the best.

Best belt out there = The Belt Man!!!

    I own a few.
And like any leather product, hit it with some SaddleSoap ever now and then to keep it in good shape!

I like mine too, its the only belt I wear, fantastic fit and finish.
I carry a gun for the same reason I own a smoke detector...I never, ever, plan on needing them...but if I do need them, and have them in a box...I won't be able to get to them for use fast enough.

Congrats! I've heard a lot of good things.

Personally, I'm saving for a Galco belt because I don't have any patience.

I went without becuase I don't hang a ton of stuff on my belt. A gun, spare ammo, a wallet in the left back pocket and a folder. I imagine if you load up for bear a stiffener would be cool but it makes the belt thicker which can make it incompatible with some pants. If you think you'll need it go for it, it's only a $10 option.

I don't think I need a stiffener, I just wasn't sure how stiff the belt would be without one. Sounds like it would be plenty stiff for my usage. Thank you for your input.

I have one on order. I keep hearing about how amazing they are compared to a normal non-gun belt and I am really excited to try it.

Should be here in a week or so
