Beltman oddity?

Seeing the thread about belt problems, got me thinking. I got my beltman belt a few months ago. Love it! But I noticed a few days after I got it that it wasn't straight. It does not affect wear, doesn't affect how I carry, but the belt is pretty crooked. Anyone else's belt like this? Excuse the pics, they were meant for just a quick peek at the belt. I probably should have sent it back when I got it, but I haven't had any problems with it, and I was headed on vacation and didn't have time to wait for a new one. Anyway, just wondering if mine is the only odd one out there.

P.S. In the pics, the belt is laying totally flat, the curve is the way it was made.

Very normal. The belt contours to your body. That is why some of the top makers make contoured belts to start with.

Did you ever notice how an old favorite broken-in belt has a slight curve to it? Andy Anderson did some 30-odd years ago and introduced the contoured gunbelt as part of his then state of the art gunfighter rigs. We have been cutting our belts on a contour since Milt first began making belts to go with his holsters more than 30 years ago. The reason becomes apparent the minute you put it on. Comfort.

Beltman belts are top quality, have no worry. I own a few of them

But agree with the above. Thats completely normal. Any good leather belt will do that after just a few days of wearing it.
Its like a shoe. it breaks in to your body!!

I disagree. I love my Sparks and Brommeland contoured belts, but most non-curved belts WILL NOT conform withing a few days. Even after breaking them in, they do not maintain the very comfortable curve of a belt cut deliberately that way. Most have the tendency to gather and even wrinkle at the rear.
